Decorating With Pirattitude!
1) The color scheme for this party tends to be red and black. Use these colors for balloons, streamers, and tableclothes.
2) Download the sign that says "AHOY - WELCOME ABOARD!".
3) Make or purchase pirate jacks (flags) in various colors to place around the party area.
4) Cover your table with a black tablecloth and scatter gold chocolate (or plastic) doubloons and plastic jewels. OR use a net for a tablecloth. You can get this inexpensively with sea shells at the Wal-Mart craft section.
5) Add a pirate chest piñata to the decorations and then use it as an activity later.
6) Add an inflatable shark and/or crocodile pool float toy.
7) Inflatable palm trees
8) Inflatable parrots
9) Find a Halloween skeleton to hang on your front door.
10) Make an old looking sign that says "Enter at your own risk!" or something similar, with skull and crossbones.
11) A treasure chest can be made from a Styrofoam chest. Paint and decorate with plastic gems
