Pirate Treasure Maps!
Treasure Map From Treasure Island
The good Captain captivates the children's hearts and attention. This is a game you can do AFTER he leaves to make the party last even longer. It is not necessary, though, the children to have a wonderful time. The Captain will take care of that!
The perfect theme for a birthday party - every pirate party needs buried treasure!
Present a rolled up old treasure map to the Party Captain (birthday child), and her/his guests or use as place mats. These maps contains the first clue. For example, if playing in the garden:
"To avoid Blackbeards revenge and accomplish this feat look under the garden seat". Under the garden seat will be another clue setting the intrepid travelers on a new course where they'll find the next clue, etc., leading finally to the treasure!
Decorate the clues by making them look old. Write them on white paper, then dab a wet tea bag over them. Let them dry. Then come along with a lighter to burn the edges.
